"Resilience is the ability to bounce back from the challenges and pressures that life throws at us in order to maintain a positive outlook. In 2017, Milly Pickles experienced a powerful electric shock of 750 volts coursing through her body for two and a half minutes, leading to life-saving surgery that involved losing her leg. This traumatic event caused significant physical and mental changes, thrusting Milly into a fight-or-flight situation. Without hesitation, she chose to fight.
Through this life-changing experience, Milly learned the true value of life and now aims to take others on a self-reflective journey to understand how to build resilience, adopt a positive mindset, and discover genuine self-belief. Milly equips herself with the necessary theory and tools to comprehend the workings of the human brain, identify personal triggers, and delve inward to find the driving force that enables us to live each day to the fullest.
As Milly delivers a thought-provoking, emotional, and inspiring talk, you will find yourself questioning, ""How long do you want to dwell in setbacks?"" Milly had to dance with death for her mindset to change, so you don't have to."
