The concept of "bring your whole self to work" has become a widespread standard, driven by the desire to foster a sense of belonging among employees and mitigate feelings of exclusion in the workplace. As organisations aim for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), they face the challenge of balancing between inclusivity and respecting employees' privacy. To address this, initiatives encouraging voluntary self-identification and disclosure of personal information, such as ethnicity and gender identity, can provide valuable insights to inform DEI programs. Furthermore, various research papers indicate that embracing diverse backgrounds, experiences, and thinking styles leads to increased innovation, which will be crucial in tackling global environmental challenges and reversing the effects of climate change. In this new era of recruiting, with the rise of the Great Resignation and the growing demand for meaningful work, employees are increasingly seeking out companies that align with their values and contribute positively to society and the environment. As HR professionals, it is essential to explore sustainability at its core but also to deliver sustainable career options while promoting inclusive leadership
